NEUROPSYCHOPEDAGOGICAL ASSESSMENT AND INTERVENTION METHODS AND THEIR OUTCOMES IN CHILDREN WITH AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER (ASD)

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental condition that requires early, structured, and multidisciplinary interventions to promote child development. This study aimed to analyze the efficacy and effectiveness of neuropsychopedagogical interventions in children with ASD and to map the landscape of inventions related to products and technologies. A systematic literature review combined with technological prospecting was conducted, identifying eight studies in the PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, and Embase databases, as well as eleven patents through the Questel Orbit Intelligence software. The results demonstrated benefits of early and individualized interventions, including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Therapy, and strategies implemented in school and home settings, with effects on cognitive, linguistic, psychomotor, and social aspects. Despite the favorable findings, more robust investigations are needed to strengthen the evidence regarding the efficacy and effectiveness of neuropsychopedagogical interventions in children with ASD.
